Video File Converter
User Guide
Convert video files and extract audio in your browser.
Video File Converter processes one video file at a time directly in your browser. Choose a target format, trim or resize if needed, convert, and download the finished file without uploading the source video to a server.
How To Use
- Add one video by browsing or dragging it into the upload area.
- Choose an output format such as MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, GIF, MP3, or AAC.
- Adjust the quality, trim range, resize width, GIF settings, or audio bitrate if needed.
- Click Convert and wait for the browser to finish processing the file.
- Click Download to save the converted file to your device.
Output Options
- Video: MP4, WebM, MOV, and MKV.
- Animated image: GIF with FPS and width controls.
- Audio: MP3 and AAC extraction from the uploaded video.
- Trim: Use start and end times to convert only part of a video.
Local Processing
Your video is processed in your browser on your own device. The original file is not uploaded to a backend server.
Large videos can take several minutes and may make the page feel busy while the file is being converted.
Browser Notes
This tool is designed to run from the Tool Buffalo website.
For best results, use a modern desktop browser and start with smaller files when testing a new conversion workflow.
