Output Format Choices

Format Best For
PNG Graphics, screenshots, images with transparency, and cases where crisp detail matters.
JPG Photos and smaller file sizes. JPG does not preserve transparency; transparent areas are filled with white.
WebP Modern websites and smaller image files with good visual quality.

Quality and Resize Settings

Quality

The quality slider appears when JPG or WebP is selected. Higher quality usually creates a larger file. Lower quality usually creates a smaller file.

  • Use 80-90% for a good balance of quality and file size.
  • Use 95-100% when visual detail matters more than file size.
  • Use 50-75% when smaller files are more important.

Resize

Enter a width, a height, or both to resize every queued image to the same pixel dimensions.

  • With Lock aspect ratio enabled, entering one dimension automatically calculates the other based on the first image in the queue.
  • With Lock aspect ratio disabled, width and height can be set independently.
  • Leave both fields blank to keep each image at its original size.

Managing the Queue

  • Use Add more images to add more files after the queue is visible.
  • Use the remove button beside a file to remove that image from the queue.
  • Use Reset done after changing settings if you want completed or failed items returned to waiting status.
  • Use Clear all to empty the queue and return to the upload screen.

Troubleshooting

A file shows error Remove that file, check whether it opens normally on your computer, then add it again.
The ZIP did not download Check whether your browser blocked downloads. Then click Convert Again.
Transparent areas turned white This is expected when converting to JPG. Choose PNG or WebP if you need transparency.
