Quick start
Create cleaner product images with consistent drop shadows.
Bulk Drop Shadow lets you upload multiple images, preview the effect on one image, process the full batch, and download the finished files as a ZIP. Everything runs locally in your browser.
How to use it
- Upload images by dragging them into the Files panel or using the file picker.
- Select which sides should receive the shadow. All four sides are selected by default.
- Adjust the color, opacity, size, softness, distance, and extra padding.
- Use the live preview to check the first or selected image.
- Click Process to apply the settings to every queued image.
- Click Download ZIP to save all finished files at once.
Shadow settings
Sides
Choose top, right, bottom, left, or any combination. When all four are selected, the shadow is centered around the whole image.
Size and softness
Size controls the shadow spread. Softness controls blur. Larger values create a bigger, smoother shadow.
Distance
Distance is most useful when shadowing only one side or a few sides. It moves the shadow outward from the selected side.
Padding
The tool automatically expands the canvas so the shadow is not clipped. Extra padding adds more space around the final image.
Export options
- Use PNG when you want to keep transparent space around the image and shadow.
- Use JPG when you want a flattened image with a solid background color.
- Use JPG quality to balance file size and image quality.
- Use naming options to add a suffix, add a prefix, or create numbered custom filenames.
Tips
- For marketplace product images, start with all four sides, a black shadow, 25-40% opacity, and medium softness.
- For a shadow below an object, select only Bottom and increase Distance.
- If the output feels too tight, increase Extra padding.
- For transparent PNG artwork, export as PNG unless you specifically need a JPG.
